What are International Scholarships for film professionals?
International Scholarships are funding for training grants of up to £5,000 for experienced producers, writers and directors and mid-level to senior executives working in the film business (sales, distribution and exhibition) to attend intensive and high-level developmental programmes in the UK or overseas, which target international participation and encourage international collaboration.
Who can apply?
You can apply if you are an experienced producer, writer or director, who can demonstrate proven high-level professional experience in film or documentary or if you are mid-level or senior film business professional working in sales, distribution or exhibition. It is vital that you read the guidelines before starting your application. Your application will not be successful if you do not demonstrate that you meet all the criteria.
Rolling deadline until 31 January 2017
This is a year-long funding programme with a rolling deadline. This means you can apply at any time before applications close on 31 March 2017.
However, there is a high demand for our grants and funding is limited; once the total fund has been awarded, the programme will close for this financial year, which may be before this date.
