Inside Pictures

The Inside Pictures programme supports the development of executives in the European film industry, developing the world-class leaders that will continue to drive the film industry forward. The programme is delivered by the National Film and Television School with the support of Creative Europe and Creative Skillset's Film Skills Fund, with support from the BFI, awarding funds from The National Lottery.

The Inside Pictures community now stretches to over 200 alumni from around the world and across the film value chain. All are ambitious film executives and producers, furnished with extensive knowledge of how the international business of film really works, great networks of high-level contacts and are skilled, knowledgeable and adaptable leaders.

The successful candidates for 2018 were selected from over 100 high-calibre applications from industry subsectors including acquisitions, development, production, sales, distribution, finance, digital, talent management, marketing, legal and business affairs. This year’s cohort is comprised of 20 participants from Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, USA and the United Kingdom:

Comprised of three intensive one-week modules and a tailored project, Inside Pictures takes place in London and Los Angeles between June 2018 and January 2019. The scheme develops cutting edge industry business knowledge, management skills, profile and a cross-industry contact network needed for leaders from across the industry to thrive in the global business of film. Seminars, workshops, studio visits and networking events cover all aspects of the international film business - from development through production, financing, worldwide distribution, marketing and exhibition and the latest digital developments.
