TV Skills Fund
Since it was set up in 2006, the TV Skills Fund (formerly the TV Freelancer Fund) has invested over £10 million in the industry through different funding programmes.
It funds training organisations to deliver courses and development activities that will benefit the television industry across the UK and respond to the needs of the industry in addressing skills gaps and shortages.
The TV Skills Fund is supporting training in:
Production Co-ordinator Traineeship
A fantastic new UK-wide training programme that will train 50 new trainee production co-ordinators over the next 18 months in London, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff and Glasgow, to become the next generation in production management.

A special programme developed and funded by Creative Diversity Network and Creative Skillset to release new sources of creativity, and build the diversity of output across all genres of UK television.
Creative Skillset's Series Producer Programme
A unique and prestigious year-long programme is open to new or aspiring SPs who are experienced producers with a minimum of three years’ experience at Producer/Director-level in factual, features, specialist factual, factual entertainment and entertainment. The programme is now in its second successful year.
