High End TV Levy Fund supporting social enterprises

Creative Skillset's High End TV Levy Fund recently commissioned a report for the UK TV drama industry to identify social enterprises around the UK that are training and inspiring young people in filmmaking and production skills.

Over 150 organisations were identified and of these, five have been selected to receive funding from the High End TV Levy Fund to help strengthen their work developing the next generation of creative talent.

The five selected organisations are:

Diverse Cymru, based in Cardiff - funding for a simple and inclusive training bursary and mentoring programme for protected characteristic groups

Fully Focused, based in London - part funding for their Film in Focus three stage training programme

Screen Education Edinburgh, based in Edinburgh - funding for a bespoke progression to entry in HETV scheme for participants of their Cashback for Creativity programme 

Clapperboard UK, based in Liverpool - funding for support supervision and practical experience on their various film and media projects

Nerve Centre, based in Derry-Londonderry - funding for a one week industry focused TV production hothouse
