TV Production Co-ordinator Training Programme comes to Scotland
Applications are now being accepted for the popular Production Co-ordinator Training Programme from Creative Skillset and the BBC Academy taking place in Glasgow in November 2017.
Designed to inspire and train the next generation for a career in Production Management, the programme is open to those starting out on their career in TV production. No previous TV experience is required for the Glasgow programme.
The training within the programme covers areas such as budgeting and negotiating, rights, paperwork, reporting, setting up filming and setting up a studio. Workshops and masterclasses are taught by the best in the industry, with training provided by the BBC Academy, Creative Skillset, TRC Media, the Indie Training Fund, ITV Studios, the PMA and the Unit List. Successful participants will finish with an industry-recognised Creative Skillset accreditation and receive a year of mentoring to help them establish their TV career.
The training programme is supported by the Creative Skillset TV Skills Fund, which is funded by the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5. The cost to participants (or their employers) is £150, with fee waivers available.
Interviews will be held during October and the training will take place in Glasgow over two weeks beginning on 13 November 2017.
