ITV is looking for a new Comedy Development Executive

ITV is the biggest commercial television network in the UK and its Comedy Entertainment programming is home to some of the biggest names on TV. Engaging and entertaining huge primetime audiences around the UK with programmes that are accessible, have broad appeal, warmth, humour and spark conversations.
ITV want to continue its success by attracting the largest possible audiences to its channels and content. To do this, it needs to reflect and appeal to the breadth of audiences that characterise modern Britain. They're looking for a Development Executive to join its Comedy Entertainment team. This new vacancy is a part of the Commissioner Programme designed and supported by Creative Diversity Network and Creative Skillset to release new sources of creativity, and build the diversity of output across all genres of UK television.
Applications are particularly encouraged from under-represented groups, such as those from BAME (Black Asian or Minority Ethnic) backgrounds or those with a disability.
Recruitment for the programme takes place from Thursday 19 January to Midnight, Friday 3 February 2017. The placement is full time and lasts 12 months, on a competitive senior level salary.
The programme is a cross-industry diversity initiative, designed and supported by the Creative Diversity Network and Creative Skillset, along with its key partner members ITV, BBC, Channel 4 Channel 5 and Sky. ITV is the final broadcaster to recruit for roles as part of the Commissioner Programme.
