Be the change you want to see... Commission for the BBC!
Media professionals with a disability or from BAME backgrounds needed to help shape the future of broadcasting
BBC are looking for commissioners to help bring new voices and perspective to their channel. These new vacancies are a part of the Commissioner Programme designed and supported by Creative Diversity Network and Creative Skillset to release new sources of creativity, and build the diversity of output across all genres of UK television.

The 24 month programme will build on their existing television expertise and knowledge, giving a deeper understanding of commissioning. The programme will develop their skills and give them invaluable practical experience. They'll also receive industry-standard training from BBC experts, an intensive five-day boot camp, and a whole host of masterclasses and workshops across the course of the year.
The Commissioner Programme has training placements available in each of the following areas of television:
- BBC Comedy Commissioning
- BBC Daytime Commissioning
- BBC Entertainment Commissioning
- BBC Factual Commissioning
- BBC Three Commissioning
- BBC Two Commissioning
Applications close Friday 30 December 2016.
A further placement in BBC Drama Commissioning will be announced shortly.
