NOS are simply statements of what someone needs ‘to do’ and ‘to know’ to perform a job role. These Standards are used to underpin apprenticeships and help to guide the development of courses at all levels; as well as being a resource for industry to support recruitment and management activities across the UK

To ensure Creative Skillset develop something that reflects current practice we are inviting employers and current practitioners to workshops on the following dates:

29 November 2016

Physical Special Effects
We particularly need practitioners with experience of atmospheric and explosive effects

Radio Content Creation

30 November 2016

All workshops will be held at:

Holiday Inn Express Queens Quarter
106a University Street

There will also be further opportunities to get involved in the NOS review in Wales and Scotland, as well as an online consultation. If you would like to book a place at any of the workshops, or be involved in future activity, please email Naomi Bonner by 25 November 16.

Please forward this information onto any of your colleagues who you think may be interested in contributing to these reviews. We hope you see the value in getting these Standards right for our industry and getting the new Apprenticeship offer the industry needs.
