Tuesday 27 February 2018
Escape Studios, 190 High Holburn, London , WC1V 7BH

Our next #OpenDoorsCareers event is a ‘Careers in Games’ panel with Escape Studios. We’ll be joined by industry professionals sharing insider tips on how you can start your dream job in Games.

The Games industry always needs artists and coders - but that’s not all. Whether you love finance, business, law, marketing or producing, there could be roles for you. From accounting to working in the legal or production teams- there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to jobs in the industry.

Panelists include

Anisa Sanusi, UI/UX Designer, @studioanisa

Anisa is a UI/UX Designer at Hutch Games based in Shoreditch, London. Having worked in UI design in games across PC, consoles and mobile, Sanusi has cultivated a devotion to good UX design practices. In 2016 she was ranked in Develop Magazines 30 Under 30 list and was nominated for a DevelopHER Award. Sanusi was a speaker at the first UX Summit held at GDC 2017 in San Francisco and has also spoken about ethnic diversity at the European Women In Games Conference. Alongside being an active member of the BAFTA Crew Games programme, she has served as a Juror for the BAFTA Games Awards.

Chris is currently design director at indie studio Cardboard Sword, building the gameplay and world of The Siege and the Sandfox.

She is a member of BAFTA crew and a WIGJ Ambassador, and is passionate about delivering innovative gameplay experiences on mobile platforms.
